To begin, a blooming flower marks more than just the commencement of spring. I decided to visually perceive a blooming flower within my slides as it portrays the importance of Romeo and Juliet s love. In Act 2, Scene 2 Juliet verbalizes to Romeo, â€Å"This bud of love, by summer’s ripening breath, May prove a beauteous flower when next we meet.† The flower bud describes the beginning of their love. The blooming flower represents their growing love. In Act 2, the blooming flower utilises the commitment that Juliet wants from Romeo. Juliet tells Romeo that this is only the start of their relationship and that she cannot make any promises until she is aware that they genuinely love each other. Shakespeare s play gives the message that it isn’t always about two ill fated lovers and the emotions that their loved one s show after their death but instead about how a scenario as such can relate to audience at a personal level. In a sense, the Capulet and Montague feud was fundamentally two families bullying each other; ultimately causing the two lovers to keep their love a secret. Within the play, Shakespeare captures bullying through physical violence. Towards the middle of the play, Tybalt bullies Romeo and Mercutio stand up to him but he gets killed. Bullying is displayed as something that is much more brutal than we optically discern it to be. Further, Shakespeare is capable of connecting with his audience. I put the picture of the family feud in because it’s something that it relatable even in this generation moreover, than the theme of love. As a child, I was bullied constantly. Getting bullied is a scary thought, but, it’s like everything you could imagine. Sometimes I can still recollect every insult that came out of their mouths.
